Perry Initiative Fellowship Program

Applications for the 2026-2027 class of Perry Initiative Fellows are now OPEN!

The Perry Initiative is currently seeking applicants for our 2026-2027 class of Perry Initiative Fellows. We are looking for graduate students in STEM fields, recent college graduates taking a gap year, or medical students in their 3rd or 4th year who are passionate about engineering and medicine and seek to advocate for talent within these fields.

Perry Initiative Fellows are trained to lead our hands-on Perry Outreach Programs and Medical Student Outreach Programs. They will have the opportunity to travel throughout the US to lead programs. During POPs and MSOPs, fellows will interact with medical professionals and engineers, while guiding high school students and medical students through our interactive curriculum. Fellows will gain essential leadership, management, and mentoring skills, while also learning about the fields of orthopaedic surgery and engineering. This fellowship will also provide valuable networking opportunities.

The Perry Initiative will cover all travel expenses and Perry Fellows will be compensated with a stipend of $375 per program.
