We are pleased to announce a Perry Outreach Program in Newark, DE, which will take place at the University of Delaware on September 15, 2018.

We will be holding our POP event for high school students in the Newark area. Women in grades 10 and up interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics or engineering are encouraged to apply. In addition to six hands-on “mock surgical” exercises, participants will hear lectures from local women surgeons and engineers.

We are accepting online applications for this event until the application deadline of August 29, 2018.

MSOP – Houston, TX @ Baylor College of Medicine

We are pleased to announce a Medical Student Outreach Program on October 5, 2018 which will take place at the Baylor College of Medicine.

We will be holding our MSOP event for current medical students in the Houston area. Women in first and second year of medical school (MS-1 and MS-2) who are undecided about specialty choice or those definitely interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics are encouraged to apply. In addition to lectures from local women surgeons, participants will also perform two hands-on skills module. The purpose of this free, one-evening program is connect female medical students with an interest in orthopaedics to like-minded peers and professional mentors.

We are accepting online applications for this event until the application deadline of September 20, 2018.
