How to Get Orthopaedics In Action

The Perry Initiative and our partners are committed to providing Orthopaedics In Action to educators nationwide at a low cost and with high-quality lesson plans and video professional development materials. Educators can preview OIA lessons, purchase OIA materials or apply for a grant to receive these materials. Individuals and corporations interested in donating OIA materials to educators can also contact us to be matched with a school in need.

Preview OIA Lessons

Orthopaedics In Action online instructional materials can be previewed free of charge to see if OIA is a good fit for your classroom. Please register here to preview. We periodically release do-it-yourself (DIY) lessons that require no purchased materials. When you register for the preview, new DIY will automatically be sent to you when released.

Purchase OIA Materials

Orthopaedics In Action classroom kits can be purchased through our manufacturing partner, Sawbones. Kits are sold as a complete set or individually by lesson, and each kit contains enough reusable supplies to accommodate approximately 20 students working in teams.

Apply for an OIA Grant
