DEADLINE EXTENDED: Perry Outreach Program- Miami, FL

We are pleased to announce a Perry Outreach Program in Miami, FL which will take place at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital on June 4, 2022. Institutional COVID-19 protocols will be observed at the time of the program. Masks required.
We will be holding our POP event for high school students in the Miami area. Students, who gender-identify as female or nonbinary, in grades 10 and up interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics or engineering are encouraged to apply. In addition to six hands-on “mock surgical” exercises, participants will hear lectures from local women surgeons and engineers.
We are accepting online applications for this event until the application deadline of May 11, 2022.
