DEADLINE EXTENDED: Perry Outreach Program- Jacksonville, FL

We are pleased to announce a Perry Outreach Program in Jacksonville, FL which will take place at the Mayo Clinic Florida on May 21, 2022. Institutional COVID-19 protocols will be observed at the time of the program. Per Mayo Clinic policy, masks required.
We will be holding our POP event for high school students in the Jacksonville area. Students, who gender-identify as female or nonbinary, in grades 10 and up interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics or engineering are encouraged to apply. In addition to six hands-on “mock surgical” exercises, participants will hear lectures from local women surgeons and engineers.
We are accepting online applications for this event until the application deadline of April 21, 2022.
