DEADLINE EXTENDED: Perry Outreach Program- San Antonio, TX

We are pleased to announce a Perry Outreach Program in San Antonio, TX, which will take place at the San Antonio Military Medical Center on April 9, 2022. Institutional COVID-19 protocols will be observed at the time of the program. Per SAMMC policy, participants must be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to participate and masks required.
We will be holding our POP event for high school students in the San Antonio area. Students, who gender-identify as female or nonbinary, in grades 10 and up interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics or engineering are encouraged to apply. In addition to six hands-on “mock surgical” exercises, participants will hear lectures from local women surgeons and engineers.
We are accepting online applications for this event until the application deadline of March 9, 2022.
