MSOP- Salt Lake City, UT

We are pleased to announce a Medical Student Outreach Program on June 13, 2023 in Salt Lake City, UT. Institutional COVID-19 protocols will be observed at the time of the program.

We will be holding our MSOP event for current medical students in the Salt Lake City area. Women and nonbinary identifying individuals in first and second year of medical school who are undecided about specialty choice or those definitely interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics are encouraged to apply. In addition to lectures from local women surgeons, participants will also perform two hands-on skills modules. The purpose of this free, one-day program is connect medical students with an interest in orthopaedics to like-minded peers and professional mentors. Participants must gender-identify as women or nonbinary and currently be in medical school (MD or DO).

MSOP participants are welcome to join the American Orthopaedic Association’s Annual Leadership Meetings, June 12-17, at the Grand America Hotel. Click here for AOA registration information for medical students.
