UPDATE: We are sorry to announce that the Medical Student Outreach Program on Friday, November 19th has been cancelled due to updated COVID-19 meeting restrictions at the Mayo Clinic. We will be returning to Phoenix around the same time next year. We hope you can join us then.

We are pleased to announce a Medical Student Outreach Program on November 19, 2021 which will take place at the Mayo Clinic. Institutional COVID-19 protocols will be observed at the time of the program. Per Mayo Clinic policy, participants must be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to participate. Masks required.

We will be holding our MSOP event for current medical students in the Phoenix area. Women in first and second year of medical school (MS-1 and MS-2) who are undecided about specialty choice or those definitely interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics are encouraged to apply. In addition to lectures from local women surgeons, participants will also perform two hands-on skills module. The purpose of this free, one-day program is connect female medical students with an interest in orthopaedics to like-minded peers and professional mentors. Participants must gender-identify as female or nonbinary and currently be in medical school (MD or DO).

Space is limited. Please register for this event before the registration deadline of October 20, 2021.
