We will be holding our POP event for high school students in the Royal Oak area. Women in grades 10 and up interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics or engineering are encouraged to apply. In addition to six hands-on “mock surgical” exercises, participants will hear lectures from local women surgeons and engineers.

We are pleased to announce a Medical Student Outreach Program on October 7, 2016 which will take place at UC San Francisco.

We will be holding our MSOP event for current medical students in the San Francisco Bay area. Women in first and second year of medical school (MS-1 and MS-2) who are undecided about specialty choice or those definitely interested in exploring careers in orthopaedics are encouraged to apply. In addition to lectures from local women surgeons, participants will also perform two hands-on skills module. The purpose of this free, one-evening program is connect female medical students with an interest in orthopaedics to like-minded peers and professional mentors.
