Zimmer, Inc., recently announced a grant for The Perry Initiative to exhibit at the 2nd Annual USA Science & Engineering Festival in Washington, DC, on April 28-29, 2012. The Perry Initiative will develop new, hands-on workshop modules for use at the festival that will be available for loan to K12 teachers throughout the year. This grant from Zimmer kick-starts The Perry Initiative’s new program to develop orthopaedics-themed STEM curriculum for in-classroom use.
